Coventry Ridge Town Hall/Annual Meeting

Mark your calendars and join us for the Coventry Ridge Homeowners Association Town Hall/Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 7 pm via Zoom. All homeowners will receive a newsletter with info by US Mail.

The Zoom link will be sent via email by Terry McCain, Secretary, Coventry Ridge Board of Directors prior to the meeting. If you have not received the meeting link prior to meeting, please email for that Zoom link (the Zoom link will also be available in the Coventry Ridge Facebook group Annual Meeting event).

The first portion of the meeting will be a Town Hall question and answer session with Jacob Lawrence of Eads Murray & Pugh, our law firm, covering a proposed covenant update (you will receive a newsletter that includes the proposed covenant update by US Mail--please let know if you have not received this by the end of the first week in December). At this Town Hall meeting, there will NOT be any formal vote on the proposed amendment. Rather, the meeting will be for discussion of the amendment only, and voting would be done via U.S. Mail at a later date.

The second portion of the meeting will be the Coventry Ridge Annual Meeting. Board members will be elected during the Annual Meeting part of the meeting. Each lot in Coventry Ridge in Good Standing is entitled to one vote that can be cast by one of the lot owners. You may also submit a proxy form if you wish for someone else to cast your vote at the annual meeting. Proxy form for Annual Meeting: if you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting via Zoom, you may designate a proxy by submitting this General Proxy Form (PDF) prior to the meeting via one of the methods listed on the proxy form.

Are you interested in serving as a board member? From our Coventry Ridge By-Laws: "Nominations for the Board of Directors may be made by a Member from those persons eligible to serve. Such nominations must be in writing and presented to the Secretary of the Association at least ten (10) days prior to the annual meeting." To be eligible to serve, a board member must be a lot owner and be in Good Standing. Board members are elected each year at the annual meeting.
